I was honored to be asked to create the branding and visual identity for this powerful project commemorating the 75th Anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the MLB color barrier. As a Lead Designer at ESPN, I developed a type-forward logo that carries an elegance I believe to become timeless. A reoccurring theme throughout the series was Jackie Robinson’s strength of character, and who he was beyond baseball.
Through thoughtful typography and intricate design choices, I aimed to capture the elegance, professionalism, pride, and quiet confidence that Jackie Robinson embodied. His legacy has long been a personal inspiration, and working this project only deepened my commitment into becoming the best version of myself each day.
