J. Cole’s album 2014 Forest Hills Drive is regarded as a classic and arguably his greatest project. Ten years later I was blessed with the opportunity serve as Art Director and Designer for the 10-year anniversary CD and Vinyl release. Utilizing archived photos and the heart from the original, I reimagined the overall aesthetic and feel, creating a new cover and packaging. The end result complements the storytelling and emotion heard in every track while also celebrating to the iconic original artwork and the impact it has made for the past ten years.
